Sow 1-2 weeks after last frost. Space groups of 2 seeds 12 inches apart. Allow the ears dry on the stalks.
When the kernels are hard and you can no longer leave a mark on them with your fingernail they are ready to harvest. When they are ready,, twist each ear until it breaks off. Peel back the husks. Hang the ears in a cool, dark, dry place for 4 to 6 weeks to cure.
