Growing Microgreens:
Moisten soil or growth medium, spread the seeds evenly over the growth surface. Lightly press to smooth evenly. Use a sprayer and mist the seeds with water until growing medium is damp. Cover for 1-3 days. Check soil daily to ensure it is moist.
Uncover and place in a well-lit area. They prefer 12 hours of light per day. Mist the seeds gently but thoroughly. The soil should be moist but not waterlogged.
Chia microgreens grow quickly and should be ready to harvest in about 7-14 days when they reach about 2-3 inches in height.
Rotate your microgreens crop to prevent greens from bending toward the light and becoming leggy.
