Capsicum Annuum Annual

Compact short plant produces fruit from early summer until frost. These beautiful 3-4 inch peppers have a lovely cream color and produce a mild sweet flavor. When ripe these peppers turn a reddish orange hue.

Envelope contains 15 seeds.

  • SUN NEEDS: full sun (minimum of 6 hours)
  • PLANTING DEPTH: 1/3 inch
  • GERMINATION: 14 days
  • MATURITY: 65-75 days
  • SOIL TYPE: fertile soil, amended with compost & well draining
  • HARDINESS ZONES: 4-12
  • SUPPORT NEEDED: none

Start pepper seeds six to eight weeks before you plan to plant them outside. Sow 12-24 inches apart. Pepper seeds need temperatures around 70 to 80 degrees F to germinate.

Peppers germinate best in warm soil, so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm.
